Daily Domain Giveaway

There has to be something free, right? And why not. Well, I’m giving away a domain name every day in hopes of generating a new kind of discussion around domain names. In fact, that’s how the giveaway works!

To be considered for the giveaway simply follow these steps:

1. Register and Login
2. Review today’s Giveaway Domain (listed at the top of the sidebar on every page)
3. Post a comment on the domain’s giveaway page explaining to readers how you would enhance the initial idea for the name, or you can provide a completely new idea for using or selling the domain name.

That’s really all there is to it. There’s not an exact criteria for determining the best idea, but a few things you may want to focus on are creativity, strategy, practicality, and of course, pertinence to the subject domain. The selected comment will be announced as the final comment on that domain’s page.

Please note that I will probably edit out negative comments about the domain name, as those commenters would not want the domain name anyway. However, if your negative input would benefit those trying to use or resell the domain name, then I probably will go ahead and publish it anyway. Either way, you aren’t likely to be selected for the giveaway. Which brings us to a few other details you may want to think about:

• The value of any domain name is subjective without some real-life context. The ideas, suggestions, and opinions published on this website are the personal expressions of the individual writing, and are presented for theoretical evaluation, and should not be interpreted as business advice or legal consultation of any kind.
• It is by judging these theoretical concepts, that the domain owner shall make the final decision as to who he or she will give the domain.
• There is no commitment to maintain a domain name’s registration. By accepting and receiving the domain name, the domain recipient agrees to assume that responsibility.
• There is no appeal process.
• If no one wants the giveaway domain name, I’ll keep it!
• Only one domain will be given away to any one person during any seven (7) day period.
• In the event a domain name is sold for $99 before the clock runs out on the giveaway, the give away for that domain name is automatically terminated.
• Additional restrictions may be applied as needed to properly manage the giveaway.
